Fostering Compassion’s work follows best practice guidelines for delivering Animal Assisted Interventions to ensure the health and well-being of people and animals involved. We follow the guidelines set out by the Society for Companion Animal Studies (SCAS) and the International Association of Human-Animal Interaction Organisations (IAHAIO), two of the leading organisations in the world in the field. We also visit and connect with centres of excellence around the world to learn from them.
